The past four days I have been sick. Not fun. Im guessing I had the flu. Today was the first day I actully felt a little better. I wore something besides my pjs today thats a big step up. :)
Even being sick I was not going to miss meeting Kim Lyons from the Biggest Loser. She was at Muscle Max today signing autographs, she signed my biggest loser cookbook. She was really nice and was sitting and talking with everyone and answering their questions. I wished I could have stayed and talked to her but I was not up to carrying in a conversation. I didnt want to start sneezing and coughing while I was talking to her it would have not been good. Plus I looked like death had warmed over. Pale as can be with dark purple rings under my eyes. I put on a little makeup before I left trying to cover up but I just turning out looking like a tanner version of death warmed over. Oh well. Hopefully tommrow I will be back to my normal self so I can start working out again. Today I was able to breath so hopefully thats a sign that im getting better.
I was supposed to work Friday but with me feeling like crap I was not going to work. When I called in they told me thats if I didnt show up I was going to get written up since I didnt have a doctors note. At that point I could have cared less what they did. Turns out someone took two hours of my shift so I wasnt written up. But thats stupid for people who cant afford a doctors vist (people like me) they get written up. And hello this place does not give out insurance. Did I tell you I dislike my job.
I hope you are feeling better. I'm disappointed to hear that you don't like your job. I didn't get any freebies yet! :P Hopefully you can find something better.
